These are 2 great articles concerning the Light going out of the world (LLwellyn Vaughan-Lee, www.caravanofdreams.wordpress.com) the end of one age and the beginning of another. It made me think of a few things.
1) When faced with the sunset
It is easy to forget the morning.
Yet, both exist
And follow each other.
2) According to tradition, the Sufis are the guardians for the Plan for humanity and assure that the Light is reflected into each corner of the world daily. Without this Light all life would shrivel and die.
3) When Idries Shah was alive- all the power sources on the planet, as necessary in times of trouble, deferred their Light reflecting capacities according to his direction. As ‘King of the Sufis” this was one of his many roles.
Since he passed in 1996, one can only wonder, how or if this directly role has changed. Yet, somehow the Light is reflected into our lives each day? The followers of the Path know we are not alone in this darkness.
3) Finally, after all this change and destruction, the Dove shall return and usher in a new age of enlightenment.
And He shall walk
Among us again.
His presence
Shall sing of breezes
From mountain streams.
All travelers shall bow
Before His majesty
And ask forgiveness
For their fears.
He shall awaken
A realization, never known,
Of the Father’s Mercy.
Travelers shall weep
In the arms of their fellows.
Nations that were parted
Shall be joined.
And all travelers
Shall be One
With the Father.
