QUESTION:
Greetings,
Thank you for the opportunity to pose a question.
To quote from the story of Mushkil Gusha I have "many difficulties".
Without boring with details, dare I ask at what point do such things
seem connected with a fundamental spiritual problem and how can they
be addressed spiritually in the absence of a Guide?
I hope that counts as one question, since it seems to me that the
identification and the cure of such matters are related on the same
lines.
Many thanks in advance,
GR
ANSWER:
Hi GR:
I hope this answers part of your question? Advise. Thanks. Stewart
1) "Problems are placed in front of you so you can overcome them."
One of my teacher's use to tell us this all the time. These 'troubling
events' really are opportunities for learning and growing; although often
they don't feel this way. These problems or teaching/ learning opportunities
come out of the fabric of our very being and we pull them toward us; they
are part of our life plan/destiny and through living and experiencing them
we create an opportunity to rise higher.
2) Mushkil Gusha represents a formula, or magical intention, to free us from
'law of cause & effect' and have awakened 'the Law of Grace.' God's Love &
Mercy will free us from our troubles; often our troubles are compounded by
our (over) reaction to the event and not seeing life clearly.
What- we thought as we grew older- there would be no sickness, death, and
inability to keep making money? These are natural laws and we may transcend
them, only through Grace
3) In all things God is the Giver; even with the assistance/ presence of a
Guide; the Baraka flows from the Beloved. Khidr is God's mysterious
intervention in the affairs of humanity.
The Mushkil Gusha story presents a formula for overcoming difficulties: pray
with others, give to charity, prepare your intention (by getting ready on
Holy Night), and ask the Beloved for assistance. All of this assumes there
is no psychological pathology at work. SB
